Welcome to the Laboratory of Cognitive Neurodynamics. Founded in 2011 by lab director, Avniel Ghuman, PhD, the LCND is located in the Department of Neurological Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh. We study the information processing dynamics underlying visual recognition and social and affective perception using brain stimulation, invasive, and non-invasive electrophysiology in humans.
